Request Summary: Clarified on December 9, 2024: Requesting the CRT form used in the Employment Insurance internal process. Original Text: This is in relations to settlement post employee dismissal when the former employees are currently receiving EI. Claimants have had difficulties obtaining a Notice of Debt without a revised ROE. CRT is that the Employer should pay the Claimant settlement funds and issue a revised ROE with reference to those funds being paid. Then Service Canada on receipt of the ROE will issue a Notice of Debt. Service Canada can no longer issue the Notice of Debt before the payment is made and cannot be done prospectively.
